Product Overview

The recovery tower is a gasliquid masstransfer separation equipment widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, newmaterial and environmentalprotection industries. It is mainly applied for organicsolvent recovery, component separation, capturing valuable components from waste gas, and rectification & purification of waste liquid. With tower internals for sufficient gasliquid contact, together with reboiling and condensingreflux system, target solvents or components are enriched and recovered based on boilingpoint difference. It realizes resource recycling and acts as core unit equipment for rectificationrecovery and wastegas resource utilization processes.

Working Principle

Feed material (solventcontaining waste liquid or organic waste gas) enters the tower from feed port. Liquid feed is heated and vaporized by towerkettle reboiler; vapor flows upward through packing or trays while reflux liquid flows downward from tower top. Gasliquid phases make countercurrent contact for repeated masstransfer exchange. Lowboiling volatile components rise with vapor and are condensed into highpurity recovered product by overhead condenser. Highboiling heavy components flow down and are discharged as residue from tower bottom. Parameters including temperature, pressure, liquid level and reflux ratio are realtime monitored to guarantee recovery efficiency and product purity. Recovered solvent can be directly recycled back to production process, lowering rawmaterial consumption and waste emission.

Core Components

· Tower Body: Integral or welded shell, optionally with jacket heatexchange structure, providing separation space and meeting pressurebearing and anticorrosion requirements under atmospheric, vacuum or lowpressure conditions.

· Tower Internals: Random packing, structured corrugated packing, sieve trays, floatvalve trays are optional, equipped with liquid distributors and redistributors for uniform gasliquid distribution and improved masstransfer efficiency.

· Reboiling System: Towerkettle reboiler heated by steam or thermal oil to generate upward vapor inside tower.

· Condensation & Reflux System: Overhead condenser, subcooler and reflux tank for vapor condensation, reflux operation and finishedproduct collection.

· Demisting Unit: Wiremesh / vanetype demister intercepts entrained liquid droplets in vapor to improve purity of recovered product.

· Conveying Piping Unit: Feed pump, reflux pump, process pipelines and valves for material transportation, reflux, product collection and residue discharge.

· Control System: Equipped with temperature, pressure, liquidlevel and flow sensors, together with PLC/DCS system for automatic adjustment of reflux ratio and heating load; supporting data logging and remote operation & maintenance.

· Extensive Customization: Tower diameter, height, theoretical stage number, internals type, heating/cooling mode and nozzle orientation can be customized for process requirements; GMPcompliant design available for pharmaceutical workshops.

· Intelligent Control: PLC/DCS automatic control system automatically adjusts reflux, temperature and vacuum degree, supporting online monitoring, data storage and remote O&M.
